Core Clinical Principle: AI-Assisted Decision Support
Boostara X-Ray AI and the Boostara Medical AI suite are software technologies engineered to provide computer-aided detection, image analysis assistance, and structured clinical reporting support to qualified medical practitioners.
Boostara technologies are NOT an autonomous medical practitioner, do not render definitive unreviewed medical diagnoses, and do not replace the clinical judgment, physical examination, and professional responsibility of a licensed physician, radiologist, or healthcare professional.
1. Intended Users & Clinical Context
Boostara applications are designed primarily for licensed medical practitioners, radiographers, clinical officers, medical residents, and healthcare trainees in supervised educational settings. Non-clinician users accessing the software must not use AI-generated findings for self-diagnosis or self-treatment without consulting a licensed physician.
2. Medical Emergencies
IF A PATIENT IS EXPERIENCING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY (SUCH AS ACUTE CHEST PAIN, PROFUSE HEMORRHAGE, LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS, OR ACUTE DYSPNEA), IMMEDIATELY CALL LOCAL EMERGENCY SERVICES OR TRANSPORT THE PATIENT TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT. NEVER DELAY STAT EMERGENCY CARE TO UPLOAD OR AWAIT AI ANALYSIS.
3. Image Quality & Artefact Limitations
AI interpretation accuracy is inherently dependent on input radiographic quality. Sub-optimal exposures, severe patient motion, improper radiographic positioning, foreign-body artefacts, or low-resolution smartphone captures may degrade analysis reliability. The attending clinician must verify technical image adequacy prior to relying on assistive findings.
4. Diagnostic Coding & ICD-11 Attribution
Boostara outputs may suggest ICD-11 codes, SNOMED-CT identifiers, and differential probabilities to assist administrative and clinical documentation. The presence of an ICD-11 code is an indexing and categorization aid; it does not constitute clinical proof of disease presence.
5. Continual Model Validation
While Boostara models undergo rigorous retrospective evaluations against established benchmark cohorts (including CheXpert and NIH ChestX-ray14) and multi-center clinical audits, performance metrics represent statistical models and not high clinical concordance and deterministic safety. Prospective clinical trials remain ongoing across partner healthcare facilities.
6. Clinician Attestation
Every report exported from Boostara X-Ray AI requires the reviewing clinician's formal review, verification, and attestation. The attending medical professional retains full legal, moral, and clinical responsibility for patient care decisions.
